Tribute to Jurica Murai

Prizes will be awarded by the Jury in each category:

  • 1st Prize – to all participants who score 95 – 100 points
  • 2nd Prize – to all participants who score 90 – 94.99 points
  • 3rd Prize – to all participants who score 85 – 89.99 points

Several special prizes can also be awarded by the Jury, a special prize for the best performance of works by Croatian composers and a special prize for the best performance of works by female composers.
All participants who score up to 85 points will receive a participation certificate.

The category A laureate will receive a special price from the Organiser of the Competition.
The category B laureate will recive a € 120 cash prize.
The category C laureate will recive a € 140 cash prize.
The category D laureate will recive a € 160 cash prize.
The category E laureate will recive a € 180 cash prize.
The category F laureate will recive a € 200 cash prize.
The prizes may not be shared.

Murai Grand Prix

Prizes: three prizes, which may not be shared, will be awarded by the Jury.

  • 1st Prize – a cash award of € 2000 and a concert engagement
  • 2nd Prize – a cash award of € 1000
  • 3rd Prize – a cash award of € 700

The candidates that win unanimous Jury votes, can pass into the 2nd Round. In the 2nd Round the Jury ranks the candidates by place. All candidates of 2nd Round will be given the Certificate of participation in the Competition Finals.

 Masterclass seminar at the International Cultural Centre of the Jeunesse Musical Croatia in Grožnjan in cooperation with the Croatian Musical Youth
Masterclass in Leon, Spain organized by the Leon Piano Meeting
Masterclass in Naples, Italy in collaboration with the Accademia Musicale Europea
Participation in the Euro Arts Academy Summer
Online masterclass organized by WPTA Spain

The official end of the competition is the Final concert, where all the laureates of the Grand Prix Murai competition and the participants of Memorijal Jurica Murai (Tribute to Jurica Murai) selected by the Jury, are obliged to perform. Otherwise, they lose the right to be awarded.
