She enjoys an international career, equally in demand as a soloist, orchestral flutist and pedagogue. Mac\u00edas has held the Principal Flute position with the Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra, has won trials with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and the Birmingham Royal Ballet, and has appeared with numerous orchestras including the Frankfurt Radio Orchestra, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Dutch National Ballet, Luxembourg Philharmonic, and the Houston Symphony, to name a few. Currently, she holds the position of Principal Flute in the Estonian National Opera and Ballet.
